Role Overview
Safety Supervisors are the field-level safety professionals who patrol the work fronts, monitor compliance with safety procedures, and intervene when unsafe acts or conditions are observed. While HSE Officers manage the system and documentation, Safety Supervisors are boots-on-the-ground — present at every high-risk activity, every hot work operation, every confined space entry. Metro deploys safety supervisors to construction and shutdown sites where the volume of simultaneous activities demands dedicated safety presence at each work front.

- Issue safety observations, stop-work orders for unsafe conditions, and near-miss reports

- Conduct scaffold inspections, excavation inspections, and housekeeping checks
- Support the HSE Officer in incident investigation and corrective action implementation
