Role Overview
Project Managers lead the planning, execution, and delivery of industrial projects from mobilisation to handover. You’re accountable for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety across all disciplines. Metro deploys experienced PMs to EPC projects, owner PMC teams, and LSTK contractors who need senior project leadership. This is a high-responsibility role that demands both technical depth and management maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
- Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and HSE performance across all disciplines
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
- Conduct progress reviews and report to client leadership on project status
- Manage project risks, variations, and change orders
- Lead project team — engineers, supervisors, and support staff
- Ensure project handover with complete documentation and punch list closure
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical preferred)
- 10–20 years of project management experience in heavy industry or EPC
- PMP certification preferred (not mandatory but valued)
- Experience managing projects worth ₹50 Cr+ with multi-discipline teams
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project controls tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
